Kent County Water Authority East Greenwich Water Treatment Plant.

Kent County Water Authority (Owner) is requesting sealed bids for the construction of the following Project: Kent County Water Authority East Greenwich Water Treatment Plant.

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the Kent County Water Authority located at 35 Technology Way, West Greenwich, Rhode Island 02817, until Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The work of this project includes upgrades to KCWA's existing East Greenwich Well Treatment Facility located at 5880 Post Road in Warwick, Rhode Island. The proposed work includes a treatment plant equipped with GreensandPlus filtration vessels for manganese removal, granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) removal, replacement of the existing well pump, stormwater management facilities, and site improvements.

Construction is anticipated to commence October 12, 2026. The Project is expected to be substantially complete by October 12, 2028, and complete by July 12, 2029.
